Did the suspects of Pahalgam attack reach Sri Lanka? Stirred as soon as information is received, searched in aircraft

The Sri Lankan police on Saturday searched the aircraft coming from Chennai to Sri Lanka. It is being told that he had received information that the Pahalgam could ride in a suspected plane associated with the terrorist attack. A statement issued by the National Carrier, Sri Lankan Airlines said that its aircraft arrived at Colombo’s Bhandarnayke International Airport from Chennai at around 11:59 am and passed through extensive security inspection on arrival.

The statement said, “A suspect wanted in India was searched in coordination with local authorities after receiving an alert from the Chennai region control center about riding on the plane. The aircraft was thoroughly examined and later approved for further operations. After the attacks in Pahalgam on 22 April, security measures were initiated after receiving a threatening email to Chennai Airport officials amidst strong vigilance in the country, claiming that five Lashkar terrorists were riding in the Sri Lankan Airlines plane.
The Chief Security Officer received a threatening mail at 11.05 am, which was placed in the ‘non-specific’ category. It wrote, “The five South Indian men at UL 122 (9.55 am) are members of the Lashkar. Clean profile, well trained, no doubt.” By the time the email was received, the aircraft had already left, and the information was given to the Colombo Airport, where the passengers were investigated intensively, and they were landed by the aircraft. However, officials said that no suspicious person or activity was found, as the message later came out of a deception.

A statement by Sri Lankan Airlines said that his aircraft was thoroughly examined and later approved for further operations. On April 22 (Tuesday) in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, 26 people were killed by terrorists, most of whom were tourists. Indian authorities have identified five terrorists, including three Pakistani citizens behind the massacre in Pahalgam. On April 24, Prime Minister Narendra Modi vowed to punish the terrorists behind the Pahalgam terror attack and the people involved in the conspiracy beyond their imagination, insisting that the enemies of the country not only targeted the unarmed tourists, but also dared to attack the soul of India.
