Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Trust Board Chairman B.K. R. Union Minister K.K. Rammohan Naidu said on Sunday that he was interacting with the officials concerned to ensure that flights pass through alternative routes.
On Saturday, he urged Rammohan Naidu to intervene and declare Tirumala to declare the ‘flight prohibited’ area. The Civil Aviation Minister told reporters in response to a question, “It has also come to light in the news that some aircraft fly around the Tirumala hills.” We are discussing with the Department of Guidelines and Air Traffic Control (ATC) so that flights go through alternative routes. ”
