Both Tata and FoxConn are constantly expanding, adding new plants and increasing production in South India. After Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the White House in February, India was one of the first countries to start trade talks with the US. Both sides are expecting to complete the first phase of the trade agreement by this autumn. As part of this process, India’s Commerce Minister will visit the US from 17 to 20 May to further discuss with the Trump Administration officials.
