Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar, while accepting the huge challenges faced by Bengaluru due to rapid urbanization, said that divine intervention will not change immediately. He said that I want to tell media personnel here that even though God himself descends from heaven and walks on the streets of Bengaluru, nothing will change within one, two or three years. His comments were sharply criticized by Leader of Opposition R Ashok. In a post on X, he attacked the Congress government. Ashok wrote that after accepting that there is no money for development work in the Karnataka Congress government, part-time Bengaluru Development Minister DK Shivkumar now says that if God also comes, then Bengaluru will not be changed for the next 2-3 years. Can He further said that people have no hope from DK Shivkumar or his government, they described the Congress administration as a curse for Karnataka and Bengaluru. He claimed that people are eagerly waiting to remove the Congress government.
