National Conference (NC) President Farooq Abdullah on Thursday expressed grief over the Ahmedabad plane crash and demanded a thorough investigation into the incident.
Abdullah told reporters, “I think this is the first time in many years that there has been such a tragedy in our country. I have heard that when the aircraft was at height, there was an electrical problem. It hit a building and God only knows how many people left inside the building. This is very unfortunate. ”
The NC chief demanded a thorough investigation into the incident and urged the authorities to ensure that such incidents do not happen again. He said, “There should be a thorough investigation. I think these are new aircraft and they should find out what exactly happened. I have not heard that these aircraft have faced any such problem. ”
Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said that he is shocked by the accident. He wrote on the social media forum ‘X’, “I am very shocked and saddened by the plane crash in Ahmedabad. My prayers are with the passengers and their families. ”
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said that his prayers are with the family of the victims. People’s Democratic Party President Mehbooba Mufti expressed grief over the death of the people. The deceased number has not been officially released yet.
‘Apna Party’ chief Altaf Bukhari said that this plane crash is heartbreaking. He said, “This is a very big tragedy. God should give peace to the departed souls and God should provide strength, consolation and patience to his loved one in this hour of sorrow.
