Foreign woman’s body found in Lucknow hotel, police started investigation

The body of a 43 -year -old foreign woman has been found in a hotel room located in Vibhutkhand area of ​​Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. The police gave this information on Tuesday.

Inspector (SHO) in charge of Vibhutkhand police station, Sunil Kumar Singh told PTI that the matter is being investigated. He said that Uzbekistan woman Egambaradiva Zebo came with a young man named Satnam in Delhi on March 2 and stayed in a hotel in Vijayantkhand here.

The police officer said that Satnam later went back and after that she was alone in the hotel. According to a police statement, a call was received on the emergency helpline 112, stating that a woman was lying unconscious in the room 109 of the hotel guest in Vijayantkhand.

The statement said, on receiving information, a police team reached the hotel and the unconscious woman was immediately rushed to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, where doctors declared her dead.

Initial investigation has revealed that Zebo stayed at the hotel with a person named Satnam Singh (26) in Delhi on March 2. Satnam allegedly left the hotel on March 5 and after that the woman was living alone in the room.

When the foreign woman did not respond on Tuesday, the hotel staff entered her room and found her unconscious in bed. The SHO said that advance legal action is being taken by sending the body for postmortem. The SHO said that all aspects of the case are being seriously investigated.
