Four prize Naxalites surrendered in Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh

Four prize Naxalites, including a woman Naxalite in Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh, have surrendered to the security forces. Police officials gave this information on Thursday.

Officials said that four Naxalites in the district Baisakhu Nurti alias Devallal (30), Sameer Kashyap (23), Phulamati alias Phoolo (30) and Kamal Singh alias Kamlesh Usendi (8) surrendered to the security forces. He said that Baisakhu is a committee member and he had a reward of Rs. 3 lakhs on the Commander of the Communication Team in the Maad Division.

Officials said that there was a reward of one lakh rupees on Naxalite Phulamati and Kamal, who surrendered. He said that the Naxalites who surrendered were active under the Kutul Area Committee in Narayanpur district.

Officials said that the Naxalites have decided to surrender by being influenced by the Naxal eradication policy of the Chhattisgarh government and fed up with the inhuman, baseless ideology and discrimination of the Maoists.

He informed that on surrendering, the Naxalites have been provided a check of Rs 50,000 thousand as incentive amount, they will be provided facilities under Naxal Eradication Policy. Officials said that a total of 101 Naxalites have surrendered in Narayanpur district this year.
