From May 20, Prashant Kishore will fill the shouts in Bihar again, said- people want change, even a big thing on caste census

Jan Suraj Party founder Prashant Kishore said on Wednesday that people of Bihar want change due to lack of improvement in basic sectors like education, employment and migration. Talking to the media today, Kishore said that one thing is certain in Bihar: people want change. Whether they are supporters of RJD, BJP, JDU or any caste or religion, they want change as they have seen the leaders of all parties in the last 30-35 years. There has been no progress on basic issues like education, employment and migration. They see development in other states and feel cheated.

On the inclusion of the caste census in the national census, Prashant Kishore, the founder of Jana Suraj, said that we have no problem with any such census or survey that gives better understanding of the society, but we have seen in Bihar that only caste surveys will not improve the situation of the country, but it will be possible only when the government will work on the basis of the untowers from the surveys. Kishore suggested that the change is unavoidable, although there may be a debate on who will lead it. He said, “There can be a debate on who will be the leader of the change. It can be the public. But one thing is clear that they (people) want change.”
Kishore further said that Jan Suraj will start ‘Bihar Parivartan Yatra’ on 20 May. Prior to the visit, the party will launch a statewide signature campaign on May 11, in which the credibility of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will be targeted on major issues. Kishore said, “We will talk to one crore people in Bihar about three issues- caste census, land distribution to Dalit Mahadalit families and track records of Nitish Kumar on land survey.” Jan Suraj is ready to contest his first Bihar assembly elections, which is expected to be at the end of this year. The party had contested the by -elections first, but failed to leave the electoral impact. The last assembly election was held in October-November 2020.

Kishore also condemned the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, killing 26 people and many injured. He said, “Some issues like foreign policy and national security come under the jurisdiction of the Central Government. In such cases every citizen, even if it is connected to any political party, stands with the government.” 26 people were killed and several others were injured in a terrorist attack on tourists at Basarn Maidan on 22 April in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. After the attack, India has taken strong steps against Pakistan to support cross -border terrorism.
