The training aircraft of a private aviation academy crashed in a residential area of Amreli district of Gujarat on Tuesday, resulting in a trainee pilot. Fire officer HC Garhvi said that we received information about the plane crash at around 12:52 pm. The team immediately reached the spot as soon as the information was received. We overcame the fire. The pilot of the aircraft was seen inside. The pilot was sent to the hospital. Pilot died in the accident.
Amreli Superintendent of Police Sanjay Kharat said that the aircraft crashed in a residential area in Giria Road area of Amreli city at around 12:30 pm due to unknown reasons. The pilot was flying alone. He said that the aircraft took off from Amreli Airport. Kharat said that the aircraft caught fire after crashing near Shastri Nagar area and he was engulfed in flames.
Kharat said, “After flying with a male trainee pilot from Amreli Airport, an aviation academy instructor crashed into a residential area. A trainee pilot, who was flying alone, died in a residential area, died in an accident, while the aircraft was burnt. No other injured in the accident.” The SP said that the local police has started the process of registering a case of accidentally death and has started investigation to find out the real cause of the accident.
