Honor to be nominated for Prime Minister Modi’s campaign against obesity: R Madhavan

Mumbai . Actor R Madhavan said that it is an honor for him to be nominated for the campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for obesity. Prime Minister Modi on Monday nominated 10 celebrities from various fields to help in the fight against obesity, including Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Industrialist Anand Mahindra, actor Mohanlal and R Madhavan, singer Shreya Ghoshal, Nirhua, Manu Bhakar, Meerabai Chanu, Nandan Nilekani and social worker and MP Sudha Murthy are included.
Madhavan said in a post on ‘X’, “I thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi that he has launched this necessary and effective awareness campaign to inspire our country for better health. I feel honored to be nominated to spread this important message. ”
He said, “I in return nominate the following persons, who have been a great source of inspiration for me in various ways. I politely urge these people to participate in this initiative to make India healthy. ” The people who named Madhavan for the campaign on their behalf are Olympic winners Athletes Neeraj Chopra and film celebrities like Rakulpreet Singh, Vivek Oberoi and Rohit Roy.
