hooda said on bjp manifesto promises of 2014 and 2019 have not been fulfilled yet

Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda said the manifesto released by the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the Haryana assembly elections on Thursday “confirms the failures of its own government”.

The former Chief Minister said, “The BJP, which has not been able to fulfill its promises made in 2014 and 2019, has coined new slogans to mislead the public in 2024, but now the truth of this government has come before the public.”

Hooda said that the BJP has remembered the Lado Laxmi Yojana after 10 years because the Congress had announced a day earlier to give Rs 2,000 per month to women in its seven guarantees.

Hooda said in a statement, “That is why the BJP has followed the Congress and announced to give Rs 2,100. The BJP had also announced a monthly allowance of Rs 9,000 to unemployed youth in 2014, but these promises proved to be hollow.”

Hooda said the BJP-led government has not built a single industrial model township in 10 years but has announced to build 10 industrial cities in future.

The Congress leader also alleged that the BJP, which has made Haryana ‘number one’ in unemployment, has itself admitted in its manifesto that so many posts are lying vacant in government departments by talking of giving two lakh government jobs.
