However, former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram clarified about the absence of PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi. He said on a YouTube channel that as far as I know, Mohsin Naqvi was not well, so he could not go to Dubai.
At the same time, according to reports, PCB Chief Executive Officer Sumer Ahmed and officer Usman were present in the stadium. But he was not called on stage. Sumer was the director of the Champions Trophy, despite his absence came under question.
