The government said on Monday that the ‘Digi Yatra’ facility launched on December 1, 2022 for the trouble -free journey of passengers at airports is now available at 24 airports and will be launched at all airports across the country on a phased basis. In a written reply to a question to the Rajya Sabha, Civil Aviation Minister Kinjrapu Rammohan Naidu gave this information. He informed that this facility was started at Delhi, Bangalore and Varanasi airports.

What is Digi Travel?
There is no doubt that the central government is constantly trying to facilitate the journey. The Digi Yatra app has been brought to make air travel facilitated. The use of this will provide relief from the long queues at the airport. Apart from this, the documents will not have to be shown again and again. Not only this, there will also be savings in the time taken in security and scanning at the airport. It was started by Jyotiraditya Scindia. After registration on the app, passengers will be able to travel from various check points at the airport terminals without paper and without contact.
The Digi Yatra Central Ecosystem (DYCE) is designed on the basic principles of secrecy to ensure data security and privacy in ‘Digi Yatra’. Under this, the data stored in the passenger’s smartphone wallet is shared only for a limited period with the original airport where the passenger has to confirm his identity. Gradually it is expanding to other cities of the country. But there was talk of making airplanes journey easier for air slippers. However, there is a question on how much work has been done in this direction.
Rat Hole Mining
Rat hole mining technology is often used in coal mines. It is considered controversial as well as dangerous. Illegal mining is also done through it in many places. The excavation in the rat hole mining is done with chisel-hills. In the Northeast, this technology is in a lot of discussions. In this technique, less than 4 feet wide pit is dug. Through this, when the coal leaves once, the tornar is dug next to it. This whole method is dangerous. It is in thousands in Meghalaya and Assam. Recently there was a big accident in Dima Hasao, Assam in which 18 laborers were trapped. The government needs to curb this technology as soon as possible. There is also a need to create awareness about it, not digging through it.
