HPBOSE Class 12th Result 2025 | Girls defeated boys in Himachal Board 12th results, topper of Una

Himachal Pradesh School Education Board (HPBOSE) released the 12th class examination results on Saturday. According to Kangra’s DC and Board Chairman Hemraj Bairwa, 83.16 percent of the students have succeeded in the examination. This time 86,373 students were sitting in the examination, out of which 71,591 passed. 8,581 candidates could not pass the examination, while 5,847 have received compartments. Results are available on the official website of HPBOSE. The board has also provided copies of certificates on Digilocker for the convenience of candidates who have passed the examination.In the exam results, the girls once again beat the boys and out of 75 students living in the top 10 places are 61 girls and 14 boys.

  Una’s smelling topper

Mehak, a student of St. DR Public Senior Secondary School, located in Gagret in Una district, became a state topper in all faculties, science and commerce.Mehak scored 486 out of 500 in the Faculty of Science and was 97.2 percent of his points, while Dhauladhar Public Senior Secondary School, Sham Nagar (Dharamshala) student Khushi and Bharti Vidyapeeth Public Senior Secondary School, Baijnath’s Jahnavi Thakur of Baijnath finished second with 96.6 percent marks.

In the Faculty of Arts, Ankita of Government Senior Secondary School secured 483 marks (96.6 percent) out of 500, while innocent Kumari, a student of New Era School of Sciences located in Chhatri, Kangra, and Jyoti Sharma, a student of Government Senior Secondary School in Jalari in Hamirpur district, finished second with 96 percent and 95.8 percent marks respectively.

Payal Sharma, a student of Kangra’s Government Senior Secondary School, Chanaur, stood first in the commerce stream with 96.4 percent marks, while Shagun (95.6 percent) and Ananya Thakur (95.4 percent) of Una’s Government Senior Secondary School Chowki Maniyar Maniyar, Maniyar, finished second and third place respectively.

HPBOSE President and Kangra Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa announced the results during a press conference here. The official said that a total of 73.76 percent students passed last year, while this time 83.16 percent students passed the examination. This year a total of 86,373 students took the exam, out of which 71,591 students passed, 5,847 ‘compartment’ and 8,581 students failed. The examinations were held from March 4 to March 29 at 2,300 centers in the state.
