Haryana Police SI Syllabus Physical Measurement Test:
- Candidates qualifying for the Physical Screening Test will have to undergo a Physical Measurement Test as per the standards prescribed in Appendix-B of the Haryana Police (Non-Gazetted and Other Ranks) HSSC SI Syllabus Service Rules, 2017, as amended from time to time.
- Candidates failing to meet the prescribed standards for physical measurement test will be eliminated from further selection process.
- Only the candidates who qualify the prescribed standards for Physical Measurement Test will participate in the further process of selection.
HSSC SI Syllabus Physical Screening Test:
- Candidates will be declared qualified for the Knowledge Test (KT) on the basis of marks equal to seven (07) times the number of vacancies in each category.
- Candidates qualifying in the Knowledge Test will be put to a Physical Screening Test which will be of qualifying nature only to judge their physical fitness and stamina. The standards set for this test will be as follows
- The responsibility of possessing the necessary medical qualification to undergo this test will be on the candidate and the Commission will not be responsible for any accident.
- Candidates who fail to meet the standards set for the Physical Screening Test will be eliminated from the further selection process.
- Only those candidates who satisfy the prescribed standards for the Physical Screening Test will be allowed to participate in the further process of selection.
HSSC SI Syllabus Syllabus Knowledge Test:
- All candidates will be required to undergo a knowledge test consisting of objective type, multiple choice questions carrying eighty (80) marks.
- The knowledge test will be objective type consisting of hundred (100) multiple choice questions of 0.80 marks each and the test will be of ninety (90) minutes duration. The medium of examination will be bilingual i.e. in both English and Hindi.
- The test paper will include questions from General Studies, General Science, Current Affairs, General Reasoning, Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, other related fields/trades etc.
- There should be at least (10) questions related to basic knowledge of computers. The level of questions will be as expected from an educated person who has passed graduation from a recognized university for the post of Sub-Inspector.
