Team India’s star batsman Smriti Mandhana has been elected by the International Cricket Council for the year 2024, the best female cricketer of ODI cricket. Mandhana was elected the ICC’s best female ODI International Cricketer on Monday.
Smriti Mandhana, vice -captain of the Indian women’s cricket team, scored 747 runs in 13 innings of ODI cricket in 2024, which is her best performance in a calendar year. She was also the highest run -scorer female batsman in 2024. Smriti Mandhana’s bat scored four centuries last year.
Also, Mandhana was also the highest run -scorer in 2024. He is followed by South Africa’s Laura Volbart (697 runs), England’s Tammy Buomont (554 runs) and West Indies’ Haley Mathews (469 runs). Smriti Mandhana has won the ODI cricketer of the year title for the second time in her career.
