Punjab Kings will face Royal Challengers Bangalore on June 29 i.e. Thursday at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, Mullanpur in Qualifier 1 of IPL 2025. The winning team in this match will reach the finals directly while the losing team will have another chance to reach the final. The losing team will clash with the winner of the eliminator match in the qualifier 2 and the winning team will go to the final.
Both RCB and Punjab Kings have not yet won the IPL trophy and this is a great opportunity for both teams to end their drought. RCB has reached the final three times while Pambaz played the final in 2014. Where he lost to KKR. Both teams have a chance, but if the rain disrupts this match, then a team will be harmed.
If the match is canceled…
Both RCB and Punjab teams would like the rain stay away from this match and the good news is that the chances of rain in Chandigarh on May 29 are very low. However, if it rains, then the match is not possible then it will prove to be a big shock for RCB. Punjab Kings will not make any difference as the team that is up in the numbers after the league matches will reach the final. There is no reserve day for qualifier 1, so Punjab will qualify for the Kings final due to rain disturbances.
