Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the construction work of Ram temple in Ayodhya, which was stalled for more than 500 years, was completed in just two years due to the unity of Sanatanis and if the country had been united 500 years ago, it would not have faced slavery. He said, the work which was pending for 500 years, for which many generations had sacrificed, was completed in two years under the leadership of Prime Minister (Narendra) Modi ji only because of the unity of the Sanatanis. If we had shown unity 500 years ago, we would not have had to face slavery. The Chief Minister described the construction of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple as the result of the struggle of generations. He said that the long wait of 500 years has ended and under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the dream of enshrining Ram Lalla in his grand temple has been fulfilled. Adityanath said that the unity of Sanatan Dharma followers is the basis of this success.
In his address, the Chief Minister talked about adopting a strict stance against the elements that weaken religion and society. He said, “Any problem which weakens the society and the nation, we have to distance ourselves from it. It should be the task of religion to expose such elements and isolate them from the society.” Referring to the development plans of Ayodhya, Adityanath said that an international airport has been built in Ayodhya which will help in connecting Ayodhya to the global level. He reiterated his resolve to make Ayodhya the most beautiful city in the world and called it the responsibility of the people of Ayodhya.
