Team India is practicing at Edgbaston, the second Test will be played between India and England from July 2 on this ground. A video of the practice was becoming very viral on the media, in which fast bowler Arshdeep Singh, Akash Deep bowling coach Morne Morkel was seen fighting in a fun manner. Both were falling down while defeating the coaches, now Arshdeep himself has revealed why he was doing this.
On Monday, the BCCI shared a video, in which Arshdeep Singh explained why all three were doing this. Arshdeep did not play in the first Test in Leeds, whether he will play the second Test or not because Bumrah is difficult to play.
In the video, Arshdeep Singh said that, Morne Morkel had said that as soon as your session is over, I will always move the last move, I will pin out you and there will be no practice after that. He has found me a new way to call off day calls.
Arshdeep has played in ODI and T20 formats for India, but has not made a test debut. He has taken 66 wickets in 21 first class matches, halling 5 wickets 2 times. They may get a debut cap in Edgbaston, as the pitch here will help the fast bowlers and Jasprit Bumrah may be out of the second Test due to the workload.
