After which he has become the first bowler in India to take 3 wickets in the first T20 and ODI matches after the Test debut innings.

Harshit made his debut in international cricket in the first Test against Australia last year. In the debut innings of this match, he took 3 wickets for 48 runs. After this, in January 2025, he made his fourth T20 match against England as a concentration subsidy. In this match, he took 3 wickets for 33 runs. His performance overturned the match. He then took 3 wickets for 53 runs in the first ODI against England in Nagpur.
However, along with this historical record, he also recorded an unwanted record. In which he looted 11 runs in the first over. After this he did medan. In its next over, he scored 26 runs. It also holds the record for the highest run in one over in a debut match for India. Rohit Sharma removed Harshit’s attack for this. He later returned for bowling in the 10th over.
He gave 2 runs in this side and also took 2 wickets. Yashasvi Jaiswal of Ben Docket caught the best catch. He scored 32 runs off 29 balls. On the last ball, he caught Harry Brook out of KL Rahul. In the 36th over, Liama Livingstone was dismissed, who scored just 5 runs in 10 balls.
