Team India fast bowler Mohammed Shami is all set to make a comeback in international cricket through the five-match T20 series to be played against England. The first match of the series will be played today i.e. on Wednesday, January 22 from 7 pm. This match will be held at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. But before returning to international cricket, Mohammed Shami was seen flying a kite, the video of which was shared by BCCI through social media.
The video starts with kites and manja. Then Mohammed Shami says, it has been a long time since he flew the kite. It’s been about 15 years since I started flying kites. Because after leaving the house, I did not get to fly the kite. After that only the ball came in hand.
Also in the video, Shami told that he knows how to fly the kite well. Then he said that the balance of a kite also has to be maintained like in cricket life. If you set on the crease, you will score runs and get wickets in bowling. Rhythm is important. Everything has a flow. While talking, Shami raised Pant very high in the air.
While talking about the balance of bowling and kite in the video, Shami said that whatever it is, but according to bowling, your body, fitness, skill, your mindset, all these things are very important. Similarly, the kite also has balance.
Shami further said that, look, be it Manja, ball or driving the car. If you are strong and confident in yourself, I don’t think you will notice any difference. You must have confidence to do any work.
Regarding his comeback, Shami said that he has waited for a year and worked hard for a year. Couldn’t even run away afraid of what was going to happen. It is very difficult for any player to get injured due to that flow and go to NCA for rehab and come back. You come back stronger from injury, I think, because of how many times you have to repeat those things and become mentally stronger.
