Amidst the attack by Israel, targeting Iran’s nuclear program in the early hours of Friday, Indian embassies in both Iran and Israel countries have issued separate advice to Indian citizens and people of Indian origin to be vigilant and follow local security protocols. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday confirmed the onset of Operation Rising Lion, claiming that Israeli forces have attacked the main nuclear enrichment facilities and other strategic sites located in Natanj, Iran.
Indians present in Iran advice to avoid travel after Israeli attack
The Indian Embassy advised Indians present in the country to be vigilant after Israel’s attacks, avoid all unnecessary activities and follow the security protocol. Israel attacked the capital of Iran on Friday morning to ban the country’s nuclear program.
The Indian Embassy in Tehran said in a consultation, “In view of the current situation in Iran, all Indian citizens and people of Indian origin are requested to be cautious, avoid all unnecessary activities, follow the social media account of the embassy and follow the safety protocol as per the advice of local authorities.”
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Friday that his country has targeted Iran’s atomic and military bases.
Head of paramilitary revolutionary guard dies in Israeli attack
Iran’s official TV has confirmed that Iran’s revolutionary guard chief General Hussain Salute died due to increasing tension between Iran and Israel.Another senior guard officer and two nuclear scientists were also killed in this attack by Israel. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the atomic and military structure of Iran were targeted in the attack to prevent adjacent nuclear threats. In response, Israel warned of possible vengeance including attacks on citizens.
