A day after the Pahalgam terror attack, the Ministry of External Affairs addressed a press conference on Wednesday and said that the Cabinet Committee of Security Affairs (CCS) has strongly condemned the terrorist attack. Foreign Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs Vikram Egypt said that a CCS meeting was held this evening under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Modi and it was given detailed information about the terrorist attack on 22 April 2025. He said that many governments around the world have received strong expressions of support and solidarity, who have clearly condemned this terrorist attack. He also said that the CCS has recorded its appreciation for such feelings, which reflects zero tolerance towards terrorism. The briefing given to the CCS exposed the cross -border relations of the terrorist attack. He said that it was noted that this attack has been in view of the successful organization of elections in the Union Territory and its continuous progress towards economic growth and development.
