Amid growing tension in West Asia, the Indian Embassy in Iran has released several helpline numbers and has also created a telegram link for communication with Indian citizens in Iran. Sharing details in several posts on X, the embassy said that the Telegram link is only for Indian citizens in Iran. Indians in Iran are requested to join the following links to get updates on the situation from the Indian Embassy – https://t.me/indiansiniran.

Please note that this Telegram link is only for Indian citizens who are currently in Iran. The embassy refused to take care of the citizens and asked them to be in touch with the Embassy in Tehran. The embassy asked Indians to “avoid all unnecessary activities in Iran” and to follow the social media pages of the embassy for updates. It also released several contact numbers for communication.
