The Indian cricket team has ended a 17-year drought by winning the ICC T20 World Cup title. Team India, under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, has won this trophy by defeating South Africa. Indian fans are waiting for their champion team but they are getting delayed in returning to India. The Indian team is badly stuck in Barbados where the T20 World Cup final was played due to bad weather. The situation is so bad that all the players have been forced to stay locked in their hotel rooms.
The Indian cricket team wants to return home as soon as possible after winning the ICC T20 World Cup, but the weather in Barbados has stopped them. The weather department has issued a high alert regarding the possibility of a cyclone in Barbados. Due to this, all the airports there have been closed for the time being. Flights from Barbados have been cancelled. Local people have also been prohibited from leaving their homes. There are curfew-like conditions in the entire area due to the cyclone.

The CAT 4 Hurricane Beryl is some ~500 KMS from Barbados currently. Its expected to get some 200KMS south of the island ~ 1.30 PM TO 3.30 PM tomorrow afternoon.

In view of the possibility of a storm, all the players of Team India are confined in their hotel rooms. According to a PTI report, there are 70 members in the hotel at the moment. As soon as the weather changes, all the members will be evacuated from Barbados via a chartered flight and taken to Bridgetown. From where the Indian team will fly to New Delhi.
