Investigation of firing incident in Nanded district of Maharashtra has been handed over to the Maharashtra Anti -Terrorism Squad (ATS) from the local police. An official gave this information on Saturday. One person was killed and another was seriously injured in the incident.
The incident took place on 10 February near Sachkhand Gurdwara in Shahidpura, Nanded. “An unknown person fired at Gurmeet Singh Sevadar and his relative Ravindra Singh Rathore when both were going on a scooter,” the official said. Sevadar is serving life sentence in Nashik Central Jail and was out on parole. ”
He said, “Rathore died, while Sevadar was seriously injured and has been admitted to the hospital. The investigation of the case registered at Wazirabad police station has been handed over to Maharashtra ATS.
