Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) reached a consensus to continue 3,900 free pass allocation after a meeting held here on Tuesday. The SRH on Sunday appealed to intervene the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) and the IPL Governing Council and address the ‘Blackmailing’ strategy by HCA but the state association denied the claim.

The SRH further threatened that if the HCA continues to ‘threaten’ the franchise, they would consider transferring their domestic matches to another state, mainly on the issue of additional additional tickets. HCA Secretary R. Devraj held a meeting with SRH officials at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium to resolve the matter. Representatives of SRH, Saravanan and Rohit Suresh were present for the discussion.

“During the discussion, the franchise proposed to strictly follow the current tripartite agreement between SRH, HCA and BCCI,” HCA and SRH said in a joint statement and ensured that they should be allotted according to ten percent of the stadium capacity available in all classes. “HCA in turn proposed to maintain the existing allocation nearby in each category, which is in accordance with the practice of years.” ,

According to this, the following proposals were agreed after the intensive discussion with the Chief Executive Officer of SRH and further telephone discussion with the ex -discussion. The allocation of 3900 accepted pass to HCA will remain unchanged which is in line with the ongoing practice. “HCA has assured SRH of full cooperation in proceeding in a professional manner.
