Amidst the news of stool bacteria in Prayagraj water, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the water of Sangam is suitable for bathing and alleged that it is a promotion to discredit Mahakumbh. This program was not organized by a particular party or government – it belongs to society, while the government is only providing its facility. We are there as servants to support this program. Seven days of the festival are still left. Till this afternoon, 56 crore 26 lakh devotees have taken a holy dip at Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj.

He said that on the stampede in Mahakumbh, he expressed condolences to the devotees who lost their lives in the accident while returning to the stampede on January 29. In the UP Assembly, CM Yogi Adityanath said that when all the people are participating in the discussion, more than 56.25 crore devotees have taken a dip in Prayagraj. When we make some baseless allegations against Sanatan Dharma, Maa Ganga, India or Mahakumbh or make fake videos, it is like playing with the faith of these 56 crore people.

Yogi Adityanath said that Mahakumbh is not being organized by a particular party or organization and bypassing all the false campaigns, the world has participated in the event and has brought it to new heights of success. There are seven days left of Mahakumbh, and according to data, more than 56 crore devotees have taken a holy dip by this afternoon. Our sympathy is with all those who were victims of stampede on 29 January. Those who lost their lives in road accidents while traveling to Kumbh. Our condolences are with family members, the government is standing with them, the government will help them in every way possible, but how appropriate it is to politicize it.
