ISSF World Cup 2025: Elvenil Walarivan won Bronze Medal in women’s 10m air rifle

India started well in the ISSF World Cup in Munich on Tuesday. Actually, Indian shooter Elavenil Valarivan has won the Branz Medal in women’s 10m air rifle.

The 25 -year -old Indian shooter, Elavenil, finished third with 231.2 points. At the same time, Chinese 18 -year -old Wang Jifei won the gold medal with 252.7 points while Quon Yunji of Korea won the silver medal with 252.6 points. Elavenil started in the final with 10.7 points and then scored 10.8 points in its next attempt.

The two -time Olympian Elavenil was 0.3 points behind Korea’s Olympic champion Yunji after the first five shots. She reached the top with 10.8 points. Elavenil topped 12 shots with 127.2 points. Wang was currently in second place. Elavenil, finished fourth in the 2018 World Cup in 2018, retained her lead with 10.7 points.

However, the Indian shooter then slipped to third place with 9.8 points and finally had to be content with the bronze medal.
