Two accidents occurred in the same day associated with Indian Air Force aircraft. A Jaguar fighter aircraft crashed shortly after flying from Ambala Airbase in Haryana, while an AN-32 transport aircraft crashed in Bagdogra in West Bengal.
According to officials, pilots came out safely in both incidents. The Jaguar aircraft crashed due to technical fault, while the reason behind the crash of the AN-32 aircraft is yet to be ascertained.
The Indian Air Force said in a brief statement, a jaguar aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed in Ambala due to a system malfunction during regular training flight today.
