Jailonski’s attitude softened amidst Russia attacks, said- I also ready to leave my post for peace

Ukraine’s President Wloadimir Zelansky said that he is ready to step down immediately in exchange for the country to get NATO membership. “If there is peace in Ukraine, if you really want to quit my position,” said during a press conference in Kiev. Jailonsky on the question of a journalist whether he would leave his post for peace, said, if you really need to leave my post to achieve peace then I am ready. He said, I can leave it for NATO. Zelansky also said that he wanted to see US President Donald Trump as a partner of Ukraine and as a mediator between Kiev and Moscow. Reuters quoted him as saying, “I really want it to be more than just mediation … it’s not enough.”

On Monday, several leaders of Europe and Canadian reached Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, amidst the completion of three years of the Russia-Ukraine war. The visit displayed support for Kiev by some of the most important supporters of the warning nation. European Commission Chairman Ursula von Der Leyen and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau were among the foreign visitors who were welcomed by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrei Sibiha and President’s Chief of Staff Andrei Yermak at the railway station. Von Der Leyen wrote in a post on the social media forum X, Europe is in Kiev because Ukraine is in Europe. He wrote, “In this battle of existence, not only Ukraine but the future of the whole of Europe is at stake.”
