External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Tuesday thanked Denmark for solidarity and support in dealing with terrorism during a conversation with Prime Minister Mete Frederickson of Denmark at Copenhagen.

Jaishankar arrived here in the evening in the evening in the second phase of its three countries visiting the Netherlands, Denmark and Germany. Jaishankar thanked Prime Minister Frederickson for his “warm welcome” in Copenhagen in a post on ‘X’. During the meeting, Jaishankar greeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and thanked Denmark’s unwavering support in dealing with terrorism. Jaishankar appreciated the guidance of Prime Minister Frederickson in furthering the Indo-Denmark partnership.
Earlier in April, Prime Minister Modi interacted with Prime Minister Frederson on a phone, in which the two leaders emphasized the increasing scope of bilateral cooperation. Prime Minister Modi posted on X after the phone call, “It was a pleasure to talk to Prime Minister Mete Frederickson today. Indo-Denmark Green Strategic Partnership and our strong support to increase cooperation in all areas for the benefit of our people confirmed our strong support.”
