Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha dismissed three employees of the Jammu and Kashmir government due to a relationship with terrorist organizations. The three employees are currently in jail and are serving sentence in various cases related to terrorism. One of the three employees was identified as Firdaus Ahmed Bhat, constable of Jammu and Kashmir Police, who used to work for Lashkar (a terrorist organization) while in service.
The other two employees have been identified as a teacher and an employee of a forest department. A major action to abolish them was taken after a security review meeting chaired by LG Sinha.
