BJP has attacked National Conference and Congress over the statement given by Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif to a TV channel. BJP clearly accused National Conference and Congress of carrying out Pakistan’s agenda in Jammu and Kashmir elections. BJP’s National General Secretary and Jammu and Kashmir in-charge Tarun Chugh said that this not only exposed Pakistan’s intention to interfere in Jammu and Kashmir elections, but also proved that Abdullah and Gandhi are trying to create instability in Jammu and Kashmir by taking instructions from Pakistani forces.

In fact, Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif had said in a statement to a TV channel that both Pakistan and the NC-Congress alliance want the restoration of 370. Chug said that this statement has made it clear that the NC and Congress are working at the behest of Pakistani rulers. Demanding Abdullah and the Gandhi family to clarify their relations with Pakistan’s ISI, Chug said that it is reprehensible that an anti-national alliance is dancing to the tunes of Pakistani forces and has deceived the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Chugh said that earlier also the Abdullahs had made it clear that they would follow the agenda set by Pakistan and ISI to deprive Jammu and Kashmir of development and progress. He said that the main agenda of the Abdullahs and the Gandhi family has been to keep Jammu and Kashmir in turmoil so that their own political ambitions could be fulfilled at the cost of the common people. Chugh said that the BJP strongly opposes the dangerous alliance of NC-Congress with Pakistan and warned the people of Jammu and Kashmir to be cautious of these traitors, especially when voting has started for the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
BJP leader Shazia Ilmi said that it is not hidden from anyone how the National Conference and Congress have always stood with the separatist forces. That is why, the manifesto of the National Conference clearly mentions that Article 370 and 35A will be restored. They have made such announcements and Rahul Gandhi is silent. She said that now, Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif says that as far as the restoration (of Article 370) and statehood is concerned, they stand with the National Conference and Congress and are on the same side. This means that their mentality on the issue of Kashmir is the same as that of the National Conference and Congress.

BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra said that the way Pakistan’s Defense Minister has supported Congress, saying that Pakistan also has the same stand as Congress regarding the restoration of Article 370 and 35A. Pakistan is a terrorist country and a minister of a terrorist country is openly supporting Congress. This is nothing new, when the Union Home Minister introduced the bill to repeal Article 370, the Congress leader in the House had said that it is a bilateral issue, and even Sonia Gandhi was directing him to say so. Not only Pakistan, Pannu has also supported Rahul Gandhi, he said that our intention is also the same as Rahul Gandhi. I want to ask Rahul Gandhi what is the reason that whether it is Pakistan or Pannu, all the terrorists support him. What kind of alliance is there between Congress and Pakistan?
