The Indian Squad has been announced for the Champions Trophy 2025, but the squad is still likely to change. In fact, the ICC has placed a deadline in front of all eight teams that they can change their respective teams by February 11. Jaspreet Bumrah’s fitness remains a matter of concern for Team India. Now a media report has revealed that Bumrah Bangalore has come to the National Cricket Academy, where he will be under the supervision of the medical team.
According to the Times of India, Jasprit Bumrah is to live under the supervision of NCA Specialists for 2-3 days. Only after complete investigation, the report will be sent to the selection committee with the leadership of Ajit Agarkar. Before the announcement of the Indian team, an update was revealed that Bumrah would be included in the Indian team, but whether the playing XI will only depend on his fitness.

At the same time, Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar had said that, Jaspreet Bumrah has been given five weeks rest and he will not play in the first two ODIs against England. Agarkar said that the decision on Bumrah’s fitness would be made in the beginning of February. A decision will be taken only after examining all medical examination reports.
Team India has only one week left to decide whether Jasprit Bumrah has to be maintained in the squad of the Champions Trophy. By February 11, all eight teams have to decide which player has to be kept in the squad and who is not. At the moment, Bumrah will have to prove his own fitness by playing in the third ODI against England.
