On being the candidate of a new party like Janata Dal United, Harpreet Singh said that before also a leader from Jammu South has been elected as MLA on JDU ticket and in this election the party is once again in the fray with full strength. .

He also accused both Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party of cheating the people of the state and not fulfilling their election promises.
