On Makar Sankranti, three and a half crore devotees took a Amrit bath. On 1 February and 30 January, more than 20 million devotees took a bath and 17 million devotees took a holy bath on Paush Purnima. In addition, 25.7 million devotees took a bath on Basant Panchami, while more than 20 million devotees took a bath on Maghi Purnima.
