The US Department of Justice has signed an agreement with Boeing, under which the company will help avoid criminal cases to allegedly mislead regulators about 737 Max Jetiner.
According to the documents filed in the court on Friday, the agreement was made before the two aircraft crashed and 346 people died. The Department of Justice said in a document filed in the court that it has reached a “theoretical agreement” under which the company would have to pay and invest more than US $ 1.1 billion.
