BJP Central Parliamentary Board member and former Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa strictly criticized the Congress government’s decision to increase the housing quota for minorities in Karnataka from 10 percent to 15 percent, saying it is an incompetent offense to provide high benefits to minorities. Talking to the media at the BJP’s state headquarters ‘Jagannath Bhavan’ in Bangalore, he said that we are not against the minorities. He urged the government to focus on waking up and development and ensure justice for people of all sections of society. He alleged, corruption is prevalent in the state government and most of the development works have come to a standstill. Yeddyurappa said that the situation has become so severe that no one is listening to the problems of the people. He criticized and said that this government is only focused on publicity and has completely ignored development. He claimed that irrigation projects have come to a complete standstill. The government should make one kilometer road anywhere in Karnataka.
