Khelo India Youth Games 2025: Harshita leads Rajasthan to the top of a medal table in KIG

Rajasthan cyclist Harshita Jakhar made headlines by winning two gold medals with Maharashtra swimmer Aditi Satish Hegde in Khelo India Youth Games (KIG) on Tuesday. Harshita won one gold medal in the scratch race and time trial (500 meters), while her cousin Aditya Jakhar won the scratch race.

Earlier, Mayank Chaudhary of Rajasthan won a gold medal in the 10 meter air pistol event. Rajasthan topped the top position with six gold and two silver. Karnataka (five gold, nine silver and three bronze) and Maharashtra (five gold, six silver and nine bronze) were behind Rajasthan.

Aditi Satish Hegde of Maharashtra, who won the 800 meter freestyle gold on Monday, won the 400 meter freestyle (4: 32.87 seconds) and 100 meter butterfly (1: 04.73 seconds) and won the number of his gold medals by winning the number of his gold medals. Telangana won three gold medals in swimming events being held in Gaya.
