Maya was born on 12 June 2009 in Coomtore, Tamil Nadu. At the age of eight from school, he got a chance to know tennis for the first time. She started playing tennis as activity after school. He then started tennis training with former India number one player KG Ramesh and then learned tennis with Manoj Kumar at Prof. Sarva Tennis Academy.
Maya considers India’s legendary player Sania Mirza and Aryana Sabalenka of Belarus as their ideal. His style style is also the same. She dominates the baseline and also plays with great confidence on the net itself.
