The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday launched a scathing attack on the ruling Trinamool Congress in West Bengal over a video of a man attacking a woman in Chopra, North Dinajpur, West Bengal. The BJP on Monday demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee over the seriously deteriorating law and order issue in West Bengal. The West Bengal Police has arrested Tajamul alias JCB, who was seen in the video beating a couple with bamboo sticks. The incident took place after the Kangaroo Court verdict.
BJP leader Gaurav Bhatia launched a scathing attack on the “jungle-raj” of the Mamata Banerjee-led government in West Bengal. He said that another example of jungle raj has come to light in West Bengal. A woman has been misbehaved with in Chopra, North Dinajpur. She has been beaten with a whip. TMC leader Tajamul alias JCB is whipping a woman in a public place. When a journalist questioned TMC MLA Hamidul Rehman, he openly said that some rules of a Muslim country are like this, this is how justice is done.
He said that Mamata Banerjee does not believe in the constitution and its values. She has given her goons the freedom to do whatever they want! No account, no ledger, whatever Mamata's goons say is right! He said that Tajmul, the TMC leader in North Dinajpur, does not believe in the Indian constitution. On Mamata Banerjee's instructions, he says that quick justice will be done in Talibani style. Mamata Banerjee no longer believes in the constitution, she has given her party's goons a free hand to implement Sharia law, it is Taliban rule. He (Tajamul) is flogging a woman in a public place and this can happen only when you are a TMC leader, because you know that there is silent approval, and that is of Mamata Banerjee.
Continuing his attack, he said that when a journalist questioned TMC MLA Hamidul Rehman, he openly said that some rules of Muslim countries are like this, this is how justice is done.
