Unidentified miscreants shot and injured a local leader of the ruling Janata Dal United (JDU) in Buddha Colony police station area of Patna, the capital of Bihar. The police gave this information on Monday. He told that the incident took place on Sunday night, in connection with which a person has been detained.
Patna’s subdivision police officer (law and order) Sangeeta told reporters, “Sonia Devi, head of JDU ward number 24, was shot dead by some unknown armed attackers near her shop. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took them to Patna Medical College and Hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. ”
