LSG vs GT Highlights: Lucknow Super Giants defeated Gujarat Titans by 6 wicket

The 26th match of IPL 2025 was played between Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans at Lucknow’s Ekana Cricket Stadium. In which Lucknow Super Giants, captained by Rishabh Pant, defeated Gujarat Titans by 6 wickets. Nicholas Puran and Aiden Marakash played a key role in Lucknow’s victory. Both scored a strong half -century. Batting first after losing the toss, Gujarat Titans scored 181 runs in the prescribed 20 overs. In response to this, Lucknow Super Giants achieved the target at the loss of four wickets in 19.3 overs.

Chasing the target of 181 runs, the Lucknow Super Giants started very well. Aden Markram and Rishabh Pant came to open and both shared a 65 -run partnership for the first wicket. Where Pant scored 21 runs in 18 balls with the help of four fours, but in the seventh over, Krishna, the famous Krishna, broke the partnership by sending him a pavilion. After this, Nicholas Puran supported Markram. Both added 58 runs for the second wicket. Markram scored 58 runs in 31 balls with the help of 9 fours and a six, but lost his wicket to the famous Krishna in the 12th over.

But he too fell victim to Rashid Khan in the 16th over. David Mill (7) was bowled by Washington Sundar as the fourth wicket. However, Ayush Badoni (28 runs off 20 balls) and Abdul Samad (2 not unbeaten) gave Lucknow victory in 19.3 overs.

At the same time, the Gujarat Titans also started to bat first after losing the toss. For GT, Shubman Gill and Sai Sudarshan’s opening pair made a stormy starting 120 runs for the first wicket. But in the 13th over, Avesh Khan broke the best partnership by catching Shubman Gill by Aiden Markram. Guin scored 60 runs in 38 balls with the help of 6 fours and a six. In the very next over, Ravi Bishnoi gave a second blow to Gujarat by dismissing Sai Sudarshan. Sudarshan scored 56 runs off 37 balls with the help of seven fours and a six.

After this Jose Butler (16) and Washington Sundar (2) were dismissed cheaply. Gujarat, which was once moving towards a big score, was scattered towards the cards, losing four important wickets in a gap of 25 runs.

Sharfen Rutherford (22) scored a run off by Shardul Thakur. On the next ball, Shardul Thakur also sent Rahul Tevitiya (0) to the pavilion. Gujarat Titans scored 180 runs losing 6 wickets in the prescribed 20 overs. Shah Rukh Khan (11) and Rashid Khan (4) remained unbeaten. Ravi Bishnoi and Shardul Thakur took 2–2 wickets for Lucknow while Digvesh Rathi and Avesh Khan got 1-1 wickets.
