Security increased in Dasna temple
After the video of Narasimhanand’s inflammatory remarks surfaced, a large crowd had gathered outside the temple on Friday night protesting against him, following which security was increased around the complex. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) City Zone Rajesh Kumar Singh said that adequate number of police personnel and Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) personnel have been deployed in Kaila Bhatta area, which has a sizeable Muslim population.

Claim of Narasimhanand being taken into custody
Udita Tyagi, a close aide of Narasimhanand and general secretary of Yeti Narasimhanand Saraswati Foundation, claimed that he has been detained for making objectionable remarks against Prophet Mohammad during an event organized at Hindi Bhawan in Ghaziabad on September 29 and his whereabouts are unknown. Demonstration in Jammu and Rajouri
Hundreds of people took out separate protest rallies in Jammu and Rajouri districts on Saturday demanding legal action against a Hindutva mahant for his alleged objectionable remarks about Prophet Mohammed. Thane Police in Maharashtra has registered an FIR against controversial Mahant Yati Narasimhanand for allegedly making objectionable remarks on Prophet Mohammed.
