Congress Working Committee member and MP Shashi Tharoor said on Wednesday that he had a very meaningful conversation with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi on 18 February. He said that in an English daily newspaper, a lot of ruckus is being created on an issue on the basis of his article.
Talking to reporters on returning from New Delhi after a meeting with Gandhi, he said that he was able to talk on some major issues during a half -hour conversation. When asked repeatedly, Lok Sabha member from Thiruvananthapuram Tharoor said that he cannot give more information about this meeting in a closed room.
He said that there was no discussion about the upcoming elections or the role of leaders in Kerala. When asked about the constant criticism by Congress leaders in Kerala regarding his article, Tharoor said that he could not understand the reason for the dispute.
He said, “I have no dispute with any leader of the state. If they have any issue, then let them decide whether it has been resolved or not. ” Asked if he had complained about sidelining him at the party at the state and national level, then Tharoor said, “I have never made any complaint against anyone.”
UHe said that in his article for investment-friendly policies and startup programs, the controversy over the praise of the Left Front government in Kerala did something good as it created scope for discussion on the issue.
