Congress Lok Sabha MP Shashi Tharoor on Saturday responded to the criticism of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the US and the praise of the Left Democratic Front government of Kerala. He said that I have been in politics for 16 years. My approach has been that when someone in the government, whether it is our government or any other party government, does the right thing or does something good, then it should be accepted and praised it, and when it is something bad If he does, it should be criticized.

Shashi Tharoor said that if I keep praising all the time, no one will take me seriously. If I keep criticizing all the time, no one will take me seriously. In democracy, something has to be given and taken. The Congress MP also said that although the results have come in favor of the Indian people, some questions about PM Modi’s visit to Washington still remain. He said that why was the question not raised about the way those illegal immigrants back to India?
He questioned whether PM Modi raised it behind the closed door? I welcome the fact that now it is agreed to talk on business and tariffs for the next 9 months. This is much better than Washington by applying some tariffs on us in a hurry and unilateral way, which could have damaged our exports. The Congress MP also said, “I feel that something good has been achieved and as an Indian I appreciate it. We cannot always talk in terms of party interests.”

Earlier on Friday, Tharoor had commented on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the United States, saying that big concerns were resolved during the meeting. Tharoor said that the joint press conference addressed by the two leaders shows that the conversation was good. He had said that listening to a person like Donald Trump, whose defense secretary called him the greatest negotiator in the world yesterday (Thursday), announced that the Indian Prime Minister was a better conversation with him, it seems that Modi can put something in the bank. Are, it looks great.
