After retiring from international cricket, Dhoni is continuously playing IPL and now he does not face much balls and he has lowered himself into the batting order. Dhoni faced only 73 balls in IPL 2024 while he played 57 balls in IPL 2023. Last season, Chennai captain Rituraj became Gaikwad and now Dhoni is going to be seen playing under his captaincy. In the last season, CSK had missed the second round under his captaincy.
