According to a report by Don, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that Pakistani security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Saroga on 24 June 2025 after reports of the presence of terrorists. The statement claimed that during the operation, the soldiers targeted the terrorist hideout, killing 11 people and injuring seven others.
ISPR confirmed that 37 -year -old Major Syed Moise Abbas Shah of Chakwal and 27 -year -old Lance Nayak Jibran Ullah of Bannu were killed in firing.
