India’s star athlete Neeraj Chopra named Javalin throw event NC Classic was to be held in Panchkula earlier but now Neeraj himself told that it has been transferred to Bengaluru. Now the Jellein throw will be replaced by Panchkula at Sri Kantirwa Outdoor Stadium in Bengaluru. This change has been confirmed in the calendar of world athletics.
A big question is whether the Paris Olympic Gold Medalist Pakistani athlete Athlete Arshad Nadeem will come to India to attend this Javelin throw event to be held in India. Neeraj Chopra has responded to this in his press conference.
Let me tell you that, about the NC classic event, Neeraj Chopra said that the two -time world champion and Paris Olympic bronze medalist Grenada will also include Anderson Peters in this Javalin throw event. Apart from this, former German Olympic champion Thomas Roaler, former Kenya world champion Julius Jeo and Curtis Thompson of the US will also be included. Thompson currently topped the list of 2025 with 87.76 meters throw.
On the other hand, Neeraj said that he has been sent an invitation like most top athletes. Neeraj said that Nadeem would discuss with his coach and his participation has not been confirmed yet, but the official announcement will be made soon.
